  • Sam F. Spadafora


    Sam was called to the Maryland Bar in 1996 and the Ontario Bar in 1999. He has been a partner at Srebrolow Lebowitz Spadafora since 2002.

    Sam practices in the area of personal injury and long term disability litigation. He has successfully represented clients at all stages of litigation including mediation and trial.

    Sam knows that there is a specific solution to every problem and he approaches all of his cases with equal importance and attention. Sam believes that no case is “too big” or “too small”. He has represented clients with catastrophic injuries and clients who have been denied disability benefits for only a few weeks.

    Sam has a proven track record through hard work, creativity and determination in achieving results for his clients best suited for their individual goals and needs.

  • James W. Srebrolow


    James graduated from the University of Ottawa Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1992. As one of the founding partners of the firm, James has successfully represented accident victims in a variety of high profile cases, ranging from the TTC Subway disaster, Egypt Air disaster, to the Walkerton Water disaster.

    Given James’ unique and extensive background whereby he has previously achieved and practiced as a Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist, as well as having achieved a Bachelor of Science in Biology, James has been able to “bring to the negotiating table” a dynamic that is rarely seen in personal injury litigation, thereby resulting in settlements that are not only fair, but are in fact in the best interest of all parties to the lawsuit.

  • Sidney J. Lebowitz


    In his primary practice of personal injury and insurance litigation, Sidney has faithfully and passionately represented the interests of those seeking compensation for injuries sustained across a broad range of circumstances. He has also established a strong secondary specialty in representing individuals wrongfully dismissed by employers.

    Sidney has successfully negotiated settlements for literally thousands of clients but always strives to make himself available to personally address their questions or concerns.

    Sidney J. Lebowitz was called to the Bar in the Province of Ontario in 1995 subsequent to obtaining a B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1990 and a LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 1993. He is a founding partner of Srebrolow Lebowitz Spadafora and when away from the office enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and four precious children.

  • Harjit Dubb


    Harjit attended the University of Toronto for his undergraduate studies before moving abroad to the United Kingdom where he attended the University of Nottingham to study Law.

    Harjit began his career in criminal law, and since becoming a lawyer, has practiced exclusively in the field of personal injury, representing injured victims. Harjit has handled, and successfully resolved, a number of cases involving all types of serious personal injuries. He has represented his clients in private mediations, at mediations before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and in litigation disputes before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

    In addition to representing his clients in motor vehicle accident tort claims, he is frequently representing his clients’ claims for accident benefits, slip and fall claims, short and long term disability benefits and Canada Pension Plan (CPP) disability benefits. Outside the office Harjit likes to stay active, spend time with family and friends, and travel.

  • Eric Heath


    Eric B. Heath has been practicing civil litigation almost exclusively for nearly 13 years and brings a great deal of experience to our firm.

    He has several reported decisions at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and has also appeared before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal and Ontario Human Rights Commission.

    In 2009, he acted for the surviving family members of a deceased worker at a Coroner’s Inquest in northern Ontario.

    He is a past member of the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) Civil Litigation Executive Committee, and was a co-presenter in a presentation given by the OBA to a visiting delegation of judges from the People’s Republic of China. In 2008, he was a contributor to an article published in the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Special Lectures in Personal Injury Law.

    Eric graduated with a B.A. from McGill University in 1997, and obtained his LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2002. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2003.

  • Alexander Lempp


    Alex was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004 and has practiced personal injury litigation for his entire career. Alex has a strong interest in litigation and he has conducted numerous full Hearings, Appeals and Expense Hearings before the Financial Services Commission during his career. He has also settled hundreds of cases with good results for his clients.

    In addition to his experience in litigating Accident Benefits files before the Commission, Alex has also appeared as jury trial counsel before the Superior Court of Justice in tort matters. Alex has appeared as both first and second chair in his jury trials. Alex’s decisions can be found on the Quicklaw website.

    Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and playing and watching basketball.

  • Jordan Richer


    Jordan first joined the team at SLS as an articling student and after being called to the bar in 2015, he returned to the firm as an Associate.

    Jordan graduated from McGill University with a B.A. in Economics in 2008 and earned a Graduate Degree in Communications and Film Studies from Concordia University in 2010. He went on to obtain his J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2014.

    Jordan’s practice is focused primarily in the area of personal injury litigation, as well as certain employment law issues.
    For Jordan, the most fulfilling aspect of working in personal injury litigation is helping people whose lives have been changed forever by their injuries. He is committed to giving every client the time and respect that they deserve and to advocating passionately on their behalf in order to achieve the best possible outcome for both them and their families.

    In his free time, Jordan enjoys travelling, cycling, watching soccer and movies, and spending time with his family and friends.

  • Gianmarco Fabiano


    Gianmarco first joined SLS as an articling student and returned to the firm as an Associate after being called to the bar in 2016.

    Gianmarco graduated from Western University with an Honours B.A. in History and Criminology in 2012 and obtained his J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2015.

    Gianmarco’s practice is focused primarily in the areas of personal injury litigation and employment law assisting vulnerable and injured persons receive the compensation they deserve. Gianmarco has successfully represented his clients’ claims for motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall claims, medical negligence, Canadian Pension Plan (CPP) short and long term disability benefits.

    In his free time, Gianmarco enjoys traveling, watching sports and tv shows and staying active with family and friends.

  • Pasquale Maiolo


    Pasquale Maiolo is a Licensed Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada, and is fluent in Italian.

    He is seasoned in Accident Benefits and practices exclusively in this area. Pasquale managed the AB department at a respected plaintiff personal injury firm for a number of years before joining a top Toronto personal injury boutique firm who specialize in serious injury litigation.

    Pasquale has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience over the years which he uses to assess each individual case and his clients unique circumstances.
    Pasquale has represented clients at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Human Rights Tribunal, Small Claims Court, Provincial Offences Court, and most recently before the License and Appeals Tribunal.

    Since joining Srebrolow Lebowitz Spadafora Pasquale has been devoted to representing the victims and the families of those who have suffered injuries, impairments or the death of a loved one. Pasquale takes pride in handling both minor and catastrophic files alike as diligently as possible so his clients may focus their energy on recovering as quickly as possible.

  • Mimi Whalen

    Licensed Paralegal

    Mimi is a Licensed Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada. She joined SLS in 2015 after spending 16 years in the public sector as contract faculty at Ryerson University and OCADU. She graduated with an Honors BA in Art History and Archaeology from the University of Toronto in 1998 and completed her Masters at the same institution in 2001.

    She brings with her extensive experience in research, writing, analysis, and synthesis. Her practice is centered on ensuring comprehensive and attentive focus is placed on medical-legal evidence and briefs required for appeals and mediations.

    In her free time she enjoys world travel (39 countries), gardening, theatre, concerts.
