  • Sam F. Spadafora

    Partner

    Sam was called to the Maryland Bar in 1996 and the Ontario Bar in 1999. He has been a partner at Srebrolow Lebowitz Spadafora since 2002.

    Sam practices in the area of personal injury and long term disability litigation. He has successfully represented clients at all stages of litigation including mediation and trial.

    Sam knows that there is a specific solution to every problem and he approaches all of his cases with equal importance and attention. Sam believes that no case is “too big” or “too small”. He has represented clients with catastrophic injuries and clients who have been denied disability benefits for only a few weeks.

    Sam has a proven track record through hard work, creativity and determination in achieving results for his clients best suited for their individual goals and needs.

  • James W. Srebrolow

    Partner

    James graduated from the University of Ottawa Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1992. As one of the founding partners of the firm, James has successfully represented accident victims in a variety of high profile cases, ranging from the TTC Subway disaster, Egypt Air disaster, to the Walkerton Water disaster.

    Given James’ unique and extensive background whereby he has previously achieved and practiced as a Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist, as well as having achieved a Bachelor of Science in Biology, James has been able to “bring to the negotiating table” a dynamic that is rarely seen in personal injury litigation, thereby resulting in settlements that are not only fair, but are in fact in the best interest of all parties to the lawsuit.

    In his primary practice of personal injury and insurance litigation, Sidney has faithfully and passionately represented the interests of those seeking compensation for injuries sustained across a broad range of circumstances. He has also established a strong secondary specialty in representing individuals wrongfully dismissed by employers.

    Sidney has successfully negotiated settlements for literally thousands of clients but always strives to make himself available to personally address their questions or concerns.

    Sidney J. Lebowitz was called to the Bar in the Province of Ontario in 1995 subsequent to obtaining a B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1990 and a LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 1993. He is a founding partner of Srebrolow Lebowitz Spadafora and when away from the office enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and four precious children.

  • Harjit S. Dubb

    Associate

    Harjit attended the University of Toronto for his undergraduate studies before moving abroad to the United Kingdom where he attended the University of Nottingham to study Law.

    Harjit began his career in criminal law, and since becoming a lawyer, has practiced exclusively in the field of personal injury, representing injured victims. Harjit has handled, and successfully resolved, a number of cases involving all types of serious personal injuries. He has represented his clients in private mediations, at mediations before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and in litigation disputes before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

    In addition to representing his clients in motor vehicle accident tort claims, he is frequently representing his clients’ claims for accident benefits, slip and fall claims, short and long term disability benefits and Canada Pension Plan (CPP) disability benefits.

    Outside the office Harjit likes to stay active, spend time with family and friends, and travel.

  • Aaron Atwal

    Associate

    Aaron was called to the Ontario Bar in January 2023. Aaron practices in the areas of personal injury and employment law. He handles matters pertaining to vehicle accidents, premises liability, short- and long-term disability claims, as well as claims for wrongful dismissal.

    Aaron attended the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University. While at law school, Aaron had the opportunity to work with the North Peel and Dufferin Community Legal clinic. He also volunteered with the Black Law Students’ and South Asian Law Students’ Associations of Ontario. Aaron completed his integrated practice placement at a mid-sized law firm in Toronto prior to joining the SLS Team. Aaron has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biomedical Science from Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly Ryerson University.

    Outside of the office Aaron enjoys playing a variety of sports, especially soccer, and spending time with family and loved ones.

  • Pasquale F. Maiolo

    Paralegal

    Pasquale Maiolo is a Licensed Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada, and is fluent in Italian.

    He is seasoned in Accident Benefits and practices exclusively in this area. Pasquale managed the AB department at a respected plaintiff personal injury firm for a number of years before joining a top Toronto personal injury boutique firm who specialize in serious injury litigation.

    Pasquale has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience over the years which he uses to assess each individual case and his clients unique circumstances.
    Pasquale has represented clients at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Human Rights Tribunal, Small Claims Court, Provincial Offences Court, and most recently before the License and Appeals Tribunal.

    Since joining Srebrolow Lebowitz Spadafora Pasquale has been devoted to representing the victims and the families of those who have suffered injuries, impairments or the death of a loved one. Pasquale takes pride in handling both minor and catastrophic files alike as diligently as possible so his clients may focus their energy on recovering as quickly as possible.

  • Sasha Chekina

    Associate

    Sasha earned a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Studies (Teacher’s Education) from Niagara University prior to earning his LL.B. at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom.

    Prior to embarking on his legal career, Sasha taught in Ontario high schools and worked for many years in health care. While living in Leicester, he volunteered with the Litigants in Person Project, assisting Court service users with their matters. As well, he was a Senior Editor for the University of Leicester Law Review. While in the UK he also worked with SEN Youth at SoftTouch, a community-based organization that uses the Arts to help young people achieve their full potential.

    In addition to being licensed by the LSO as a lawyer he also continues to maintain his teaching license with the Ontario College of Teachers. Sasha began as an articling student with SLS and now works as a lawyer with a focus on CPP disability, medical malpractice, personal injury, accident benefits, and employment law matters.

    Sasha has an avid interest in entertainment and continues to play multiple instruments and write in his spare time.

  • KRISTOFFER DIOCAMPO

    Associate

    Kristoffer is a personal injury lawyer with our firm who brings over 13 years of experience in personal injury law to our team. He began his legal career working in insurance defence and completed his paralegal diploma with high honors at Sheridan College. As a paralegal, he focused on personal injury and accident benefits. He then obtained an Honours B.A. in Organizational Leadership at Wilfrid Laurier University before accepting a scholarship to Bond University in Australia to pursue his Juris Doctor.

    He returned to Canada where he was called to the bar in 2018 and currently practices personal injury and general civil litigation. He has represented clients in Small Claims, Superior Court, FSCO/LAT tribunals, and in private mediations. Kristoffer serves his clients using a combination of experience in both insurance defence and plaintiff law that uniquely helps him represent clients in motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall injuries, and animal attack claims.

    Kristoffer has authored articles for the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and volunteers his time training legal students as a paralegal field placement supervisor for Sheridan College and Centennial College students.

    He is a world traveler who has covered 6 continents and has yet to snowboard with penguins in Antarctica. Kristoffer is also a 2015 Australian state champion in judo, a loving husband to his wife and a proud father to his children.
